Garcia Construction Group, Inc. is participating in the new construction of the Indianapolis Airport as an Associate Construction Manager under Hunt/Smoot, Midfield Builders, Joint Venture for the construction of the Terminal, Concourses, Apron, and Central Energy Plant, (CEP). GCG’s specific responsibility is for the Central Energy Plant that will provide Gas, Electric, Hot and Chilled water to the entire facility. The CEP represents approximately $25 million of the Air Side construction. The New Airport will feature a newly-constructed, modern terminal building located between the two existing main runaways along with new highway access, new and improved parking and support facilities and improved utilities and airside operations.
